The Journey

When I was a child my family travelled a lot. My mom and dad would always have something planned for the weekend. Mostly we go to the beach, but we also go to parks, hot springs or visit my cousins.

I remember how I would always be impatient to reach our destination. I would be jumping up and down at the back seat with my brother and sister, asking my mom and dad, "are we there yet?" To pacify us they would make us count up to a thousand or they would come up with a contest, the person who reads all street signs would get a prize! Since my mind is so concentrated on what I'll do when I get there, I missed seeing the beautiful fields, the enchanting cottages and the cute stray animals along the way.

Nowadays, when we are travelling whether by road, by sea or by air I would make it a point to enjoy the scenery before me. I would breathe in the fresh air and drink in the beauty spread out before me. Now I realize it's not so much as the destination but what the journey has in store for me.=)

The journey is the important part, what you take time for, the people you influence, and what you learn and experience along the way.
… it’s about the journey.

The journey is also where you find God
and where you learn about Him.

Things in life aren’t random and they don’t happen by accident. There is a wonderful plan at work that runs deeper than you know.
God’s force flows through life, affecting your personal destiny, and the destiny of the world you live in.

Don’t fall for the “big bang” lies that there is no purpose and no reason and you don’t seem to be getting anywhere.

His plan is on schedule and things are happening exactly when and where He knows they should. There is a reason for everything.
And You Can Make A Difference!

You are under God’s care
in this journey through life
and He loves you…

His love for you cannot be measured, contained, explained, understood, compared, or seen.

It must just be accepted for what it is…

REMEMBER...
...the purest, truest love
you will ever know.

…So don’t rush through life putting aside your time with God or enjoying your family and friends otherwise you will miss the whole point, and all that you accomplish and go through will be for naught.

Make the most of your journey by learning about Him, loving Him, seeking Him, discovering Him and helping those around you. Before you know it, you’ll have arrived at your final stop…

...and He’ll be there
waiting for you.

Good reflection to the life..
In our vacation or life journey is unpredicted. Sometime we missed seeing the beautiful things even we had planned for the Long time that vacation or everything in our life.

The same thing happened on our spirit, We don't aware God plan to our life,God need we believed in HIM...Have a nice weekend.

Absolutely, we can get ourselves so embroiled in everyday matters and lost track of many things, including God. We don't know what our purpose is in Life, but each and every one of us is a part of the jigsaw that God has created and is still putting together......that's some jigsaw puzzle isn't it? Life should be taken at a leisurely pace, so you can drink in with your eyes, ears, heart and soul what is really around you, yet so easily fail to see.

Wonderful post my friend, and love the new layout too.
Have a blessed weekend.

I am so pleased that you joined my neighborhood. And, after reading this post...I feel very honored. I can't remember where I came across this...but, a teacher in school here in america of course is forced to teach Darwin's theory and at some scholls if not all, they must also explain and teach the "Big Bang Theory." This is one of the best things I have ever heard. The teacher being a non believer of this theory explained this way. Just suppose there was a Big Bang...where did it come from? Something entity had to exist to cause the "Big bang" to happen. I do believe that i recall that the teacher was fired. This is a simply wonderful and heartfelt explanation about God, our existance, and why we are on this journey. ~Jackie

@@@Shinade - Jackie, I feel honored that you visited and liked my post. thank you for sharing about the teacher who was fired because he was not teaching the kids correctly. we are all created for God's purpose. and that alone makes you and I, miracles of life...God bless!Hope you'll visit often.

An excellent contemplation, and makes me curious why you called your blog, "Life is Just Around The Corner." You know full well that life is right here, right now :-)
Just wondering how that came about...

@@@Shelly - Hmmm, let me see. I started this blog sometime in December 2005 I think it was just about near the New Year, I was at a crossroad in my life (check out the my very 1st post, if you have time) I am bored and I am wondering when I could finally feel that I have lived...i guess it started there...meeting you and a lot of people here in the blogosphere made me realize that life, in fact, could be lived right here, right now as you say. Thank you Shelly for taking the time to know...hugs and kisses to you. =)
